Michelle Obamas Inauguration Outfit

Did you see it? I'm sure you all did? Did you like it? I didn't! Michelle Obama sported a Bright Yellow dress from Cuban born designer American designer Isabel Toled. It was quite different from the traditional colors of Red white or Blue that the First ladies usually wear. Different isn't bad. Not at all. But different should also be Nice! The style wasn't so bad..it was the color that killed it.It really didn't suit her. Green gloves and green shoes? eek! However you judge for yourself. What do you think?

However what she wore to the Inauguration ball was a different story. It was more classier and the color was easier on the eyes. A one-shouldered pale yellow, full-length ruffled gown by Jason Wu.

Never B too Busy to B Beautiful!

Makeup, Makeup and more Makeup! That's my motto! I discovered this shop when i was casually strolling down Oxford Street with my best friend, and i was delighted! A shop which is dedicated just to makeup and perfumes gets me very excited! The exterior of the shop was very eye catching. A huge letter "B" dazzling on the top of the door. When i looked in through the huge glass windows i saw a very chic , creatively decorated store where the main color was GOLD. There was a huge rush of girls everywhere scrambling about with their baskets. I decided to enter and i was greeted with beautiful scents of sherbet fountains, candy floss, toffee apple .I then knew, this was going to be huge.

B Makeup-

Lets start with the
eye makeup.
Pressed Shadows- A selection of 35 Sexy shades which range from Iridescent Gold to pale turquoise , to smouldering charcoal grey. These shades will stay on all day and will light give that hot edge to your eyes! They come in an admirably , decorated refillable 0.4 g pot. My personal favourite is Bugatti(pink grey). It gives my eyes an amazing soft touch. These babies cost £8.30each.A refill is only £4.90 and will stick automatically to the magnetic base!

  • They also have eyeshadow selection boxes. The boxes are so cute! Something you would want to decorate your dresser with. There are 3 different selections in 5 lustrous shades. Each box is for £29.30. Their is the "Bellisimo selection" which includes rose pink blossom, golden bronze burnish, emerald gold beatrix, shimmering pale pink B delight and smouldering charcoal belize.

Next is the "Big Smoke" Box.This is a very classy and sexy collection that will help you achieve that sexy smokey eyed look. The colors include glittering white Burke, Shimmery Pale pink B delight, stormy grey B lo,purple grape Blur and smouldering charcoal.

"Bombshell" pressed eyeshadow box is a stunning palette that aims more for the natural look . The colors include bronze burnish, shimmering pale pink B delight, sandy beach, sparkly dark brown Boston and smouldering charcoal Belize.

Creamy Eyeshadow- Formulated with spring water and almond oil this creamy eyeshadow will glide on to your skin giving you a smooth finish. You can even use them as an eyeliner. The colors range from bottle green to majestic purple to tantalising golden green! Each 4g bottle is £12.00.

Metallic loose powder-
I personally love these. Shimmering powder in cute little carved wooden boxes. Adorable!! You can apply it anywhere you want and it'll shimmer away. Perfect for an eye makeup fanatic. Some colors include Bourbon Mist(i juts love the names), Bora Bora pale blue with silver sparkle,Beverly Hills golden turquoise and many more. These little pots of beauty cost £15.00 each.

Pretty, shiny sexy lips. That's what we all want. You ca now achieve that with B's lip gloss. Lip gloss comes in a small beaded box .Some colors include glittering reddish pink, shimmering light purple, glittering bubble pink etc. They cost around £7.50 each!

The cute heart shaped lip creams are very nice. Keep your lips nice and moist.I hate dry chapped lips so this is perfect! You'll have a soft, colored pout for the whole day! It costs around £9.50 each.

Their lipsticks are also nice but I'm not that big a fan of them I prefer there lip gloss over the lipsticks any day! They come in many colors like metallic brown, sheer red rouge noir( black) etc .They come for £10.00 each.

Brushes! I love there brushes! They are so pretty:) I just want to buy the entire collection and put it on my dresser so it looks all pretty! I like pretty brushes!

The Face makeup is fine but I haven't tried it really. They range in liquid foundations to blush to cream foundation to cream blushers to tinted foundation .

The B-BAR!

The AMAZING thing about the "B" shop is the B BAR! Here you sit down at the bar and have a look at the "cocktail" of makeup. The lady does your makeup while you sit and relax and sip on a cocktail of your choice! It's actually quite cool. First I've heard of it!

B Perfumes!

They have a whole section just for there perfumes! So many different types and smells! So many different varieties! A visit to the shop is a MUST to check these out!

Never B too Busy to be Beautiful is a must check out for all you makeup junkies out there! I am sure you'll love it! There is alot to see in this place! The staff are very friendly and very helping! The environment is very hip and upbeat! Perfect for makeup store! The sister company for LUSH cosmetics!I have just covered the tip of the iceberg! Hotties on the Red Carpet

Golden Globes means Fashion! Hollywood stars all decked up and wearing gorgeous couture dresses. The lady who caught my eye was Eva Mendez. I absolutely adore her necklace! It was a Van Cleef & Harpels Turquoise and diamonds Bib necklace. Her dress was a stunning white strapless dress from Dior with an over sized bow on the side. I admit the idea of a huge bow is kind of..err not glamorous but Eva pulled it off!

Now, I'm not that big of a fan of Melissa George but I'm a huge fan of her dress. She wore an ice -blue chiffon Armani gown which featured black lacquer asymmetrical detail at the bust. Very c
lassy and chic.

Miley Cyrus. To be honest i really dislike her. However her dress, was another story. Quite beautiful and too elegant for someone as controversial I think. I also don't think she carried it very elegantly. Shes walking around acting too much like a teenager. However that's just my personal opinion. She wore a gorgeous white strapless Marchessa gown with gold embroidery. The golden pattern inset was Hot! It is so pretty! The fall of the dress was amazing! She doesn't deserve it! I do!!:p Who would have thought, my fav
orite dress of the

Some of my other favourites are Eva Longoria who looked Sexy in a re
d strapless scallop edged Reema Acra dress. Megan Fox, the hottest star there last night. She was on fire! She wore a gold clingy Ralph Lauren dress which showed off her AMAZING hour glass figure. As usual Kate Beckingsale looked stunning in her white strapless mermaid style J.Mendall gown. Quite breathtaking! Even though she was critisized by many, I happen to think Drew Barrymoore looked ravishing in her sky blue off the shoulder John Galliano for Dior gown. This is the most elegant i have seen her and I liked it! Reminded me of Marilyn Monroe. She claims she was inspired by the"opaqueness of a pearl".

Heidi Klum was a big disappointment. Talk about Eew. For someone whose Hosting "Project Runway
" It was a big shock. She wore an 80's inspired black with red polka dotted dress with a large red rosette Galanos dress. Her Christian Louboutin strappy sandals were hot. But that's about all that was hot. Instead of finding it totally RAD I found it totally BAD!

That's all for now. Ta Ta!

* Foundation*

While we're on the topic of nice skin, I thought I'd address a famous topic. Foundation. So many girls have asked me to suggest a good foundation. One that doesn’t make them look like Bridezilla. One that doesn’t look like you are actually wearing anything on your face. Something light and natural and won't ruin your skin. Well I found one. I stumbled upon it accidently.
My cousins and me were shopping at John Lewis, a department store here in Oxford Street, London. We saw the makeup section and were like…Ooh Lets have some fun! So we went to each station, getting our eyes done and face made up. First my base was done by Bobbi brown. Err not so good. Wasn’t too happy. Then I saw my cousin come back with a fresh and clear face. I was like, wow. So I asked her where she got it done. I expected her to say Chanel , Lancôme or Clinique. However she said, Sisley Paris. I was like, okay a bit doubtful. I thought she got it wrong. So I went there and tried it on.

I LOVED IT! It was so light. It absorbed right in making it seem like I had amazingly beautiful clear skin. Well, I actually do have nice clear skin. But it made it seem more fresh and pretty. Sisley Paris Oil Free Foundation, Phyto teint eclat, a fluid ultra light to give you that long lasting natural look! It’s oil free texture is suitable for ALL skin types! That’s what makes it so good! Your face will be glowing and you can enjoy a smooth, natural looking finish. Its available at any department store like Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Macys for $115.oo. Yes that’s correct. $115.00 for a medium sized bottle of liquid foundation. In England you can find it at John Lewis, Selfridges, House of Frasier etc for £72. If you really want some amazing foundation and willing to splurge on your skin then I advise this! I personally think, Never Go Cheap on hair and makeup!

Boo to Dry Skin!

I am very fussy about my skin. If my skin feels good then I feel good. I originally have dry skin and during the winter my skin becomes even more dry . On top of that I happen to live in a country where it is freezing cold and the weather is absolutely HORRIABLE for my skin. So I wakeup everyday with dry skin which seriously irritates me. This resulted in me going on a desperate hunt to find the perfect moisturizer. I tried Neutrogena face moisturiser but that moisturised my face for about 10 min. So that’s a big No! I tried L’Oreal, Oil of Olay and some new organic moisturiser that was newly launched at Boots . The organic moisturiser was a Big mistake. The lotion didn't absorbe into my skin properly and it gave a very unsatisfied and dry feeling. What's a girl to do to get some decent moisturisers in this cold harsh winter season?
Finally God decided to bestow some mercy on my skin. I came across this really good moisturiser. Origins A Perfect World™ Antioxidant moisturizer with White Tea. I fell in Love with it! It’s light on the skin and absorbs into it really well. It doesn’t give an oily feeling. The best part, my skin was hydrated the entire day☺ It’s perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It’s available at any department store like Macys and Bloomingdales for $36.00 and here in England you can find it online or at Harrods and Selfridges for about £30.00. Another natural way for amazing skin is drinking a lot of water. It really works. I drink around 8 -9 glasses a day and my skin feels so fresh, hydrated and so soft just like baby skin. Yes, I know it requires a lot of energy due to the frequent bathroom trips but you know what, I think it's worth it. Just keep a large bottle of water with you wherever you go. If you don’t like water, try making fresh squeezed lemonade. This is very good for those who have bad skin. It tastes very good too.

I'm gonna go gulp down a jug of lemoande lol The one with fresh lemons , suger, a pinch of salt and pepper.Yumm. I feel like summer's here.
